Goldilocks
The science behind understanding what colors or patterns look best together is referred to sometimes as the Goldilocks Principle. Remember that Goldilocks entered into the home of the three bears and complained when things were either too hot or too cold and was only content when everything was âjust right.â The same applies to fashion sense apparently. It turns out that when it comes to fashion, too many clashing colors and patterns are as bad as too many matching colors. The âjust rightâ in fashion is somewhere in between.
